ArtScroll/Mesorah's Siyum Commencement Dinner
New York Hilton, February 27th, 2012

ArtScroll/Mesorah does not have annual dinners. When we do have one, it is to celebrate a special event. Our 2005 dinner celebrated the completion of the Schottenstein Edition of the Talmud in English. On February 27, a few days ago, 2,000 guests converged on the New York Hilton to celebrate several special several landmarks:

•The completion of the Schottenstein Edition of the Talmud in Hebrew,
•The twentieth yahrzeit of Jerome Schottenstein a"h, whose pioneering dedication of the English Edition made history,
•36 years of ArtScroll/Mesorah,
•Continuation of the Schottenstein Edition of Talmud Yerushalmi, in English and Hebrew
•Inauguration of the Schottenstein Edition of Sefer HaChinuch/The Book of Mitzvos, including the Czukler Edition of the Torah's Obligations
•The ongoing Kleinman Edition of Midrash Rabbah,
•The ongoing Kleinman Edition of Daily Dose of Torah
•Inauguration of the Ryzman Edition of the Mishnah, in Hebrew

It's a long list, and the Dinner was worthy of them all. The program was fast-moving and held the interest of the guests from beginning to end. To enable you to "attend" vicariously from wherever you are, we are attaching links to "The ArtScroll Revolution", a video presentation that will attest to past accomplishments and to our people's gratifying thirst for Torah.

In addition, we urge to watch the second video, which demonstrate a very exciting new Artscroll/Mesorah project. Words cannot describe it adequately; you have to see it. For many years we have been researching the possibility of harnessing modern computer technology to the ArtScroll Talmud, but the software was not yet advanced enough. Recently, the required state-of-the-art technology came online, and our staff began work on adapting it to Talmud study. The results are stunning! Turn on the link, and make the leap into tomorrow.

We thank you for your interest in our work and we affirm our 36-year-old commitment to Torah literature — now, not only the written word, but also, the computer app — that will bring the word of Hashem to the people of Hashem.
